Kai handles your office work every day: estimates, invoices, payment reminders, scheduling, your customer list and clean records for your books. We check in with you as it runs.
Everything in Solo, plus you can talk to Kai by voice, Kai handles recurring work and service contracts with invoices drafted on schedule, and we review how it's going with you once a month.
Six months of an hour and a half a month with us, for advice, planning or hands-on help with any AI tool you use. It's for any owner-run business, on a Kai plan or not.
Every Kai plan includes Kai every day and regular check-ins from us. Need Kai connected to a system you keep, like QuickBooks or Square? That's a one-time setup on any Kai plan, priced per integration. We use the vendor's own connector, and it's read-only unless you say otherwise.

Kai plans are built for two ways in to the same records. One is the Kai app, where you ask Kai. The other is your own AI, like Claude, connected to KAIWorks. That second way in is coming, not open to customers yet. When it opens it's part of every Kai plan at no extra charge, not a separate plan, and your own AI can read, not change: anything that changes a record still comes to you as an approval card in Ask Kai.

Hiring figures are median yearly wages in Connecticut for bookkeeping clerks, dispatchers and office supervisors (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, May 2025), before payroll taxes and benefits. Kai doesn't do everything a full-time hire does, and it doesn't keep your ledger. It handles the office work in these three jobs, and you approve what goes out.

What Kai replaces, and what it doesn't.
Kai replaces the kitchen-table paperwork: the notepad, the spreadsheet, the invoices typed at night. It doesn't replace how you take payments: Square or Toast stays. It doesn't keep your ledger either. On QuickBooks? You keep QuickBooks, and Kai hands it clean customers and invoices as a file you import. Your money never passes through us.
Where your information goes.
Your business records are kept in the United States and backed up every night. When you ask Kai something, your message and the records it needs go to Anthropic, our AI model provider, to write the reply. We don't sell your information or use it to train AI models. Export your books any time, and we delete them when you ask. Our privacy notice has the detail.
How the work gets in today.
You tell Kai what happened, by typing or, on Solo Plus, out loud. Paste in a customer's text, or send a photo of the job or the paper ticket, and Kai writes it up for your OK. Texting back a missed call comes when our business texting registration clears.
A grant may help with your setup.
seCTerRise is a small business grant for southeastern Connecticut. It doesn't name software or AI, and no grant for AI itself exists before 2027, so we won't promise one. We look at whether your business may qualify, and if it does, we help you apply. We don't take a cut of the grant.

Dave spent 30 years in business technology, served in the U.S. Navy on submarines and ran a small business in Mystic, where he lost plenty of Sunday nights to paperwork.
